LIterary Death Match, London 12/10/11
The judges include sheer brilliance, co-headlined by recent LDM champ Nikesh Shukla (whose sitcom Kabaddasses is airing on November 8 on Channel 4), gorgeous comedy-lady Nat Luurtsema and award-winning novelist/poet/playwright/editor/aphorist/lyricist Kevin MacNeil (author of A Method Actor’s Guide to Jekyll and Hyde)!
Those vying for LDM glory include Tom Cox, friend of the felines and author of Talk to the Tail, Molly “mistress of all trades” Naylor — poet, performer, writer and theatre-maker — whose book Whenever I Get Blown Up I Think Of You is an illustrated text of her solo show, the youngest-ever winner of the BBC National Short Story Prize, D.W. Wilson (author of Once You Break a Knuckle), and Benjamin Partridge, the grotesquely young and successful Welsh comedian – so be sure to pack the anti-aging cream, folks.
